Natalie’s Story
Every story has a beginning. This is her’s…
As Ms. Guerra’s career in child protective services lengthened, so did the difficulties within her own life. CEO managed her career in this sector while attempting to navigate a difficult personal life.
In the midst of a very demanding profession, CEO dealt with pain, loss and depression. In the early years of her career, Ms. Guerra was the victim of an emotionally and verbally abusive relationship, which eventually dissolved. Following this, CEO dealt with the sudden onset of a diagnosis of esophageal cancer of her father, who was still very young.
CEO’s father, passed away in 2014, only 18 months after the initial diagnosis. Plagued with racing thoughts, anxiety, depression and a demanding career, CEO realized she had nearly exhausted every effort of support to better her outlook from support groups to individual therapy to taking time off of work. With nearly every effort exhausted and progress advancing only to be met by an immediate set back, CEO looked to faith,
Faith in God as her final and only last resort. CEO grew up a child in the faith, going to Sunday school and believing in God, but no matter how many books she read or Sunday sermons she went to, she still felt that there MUST be something more to offer by God than the usual sermon provided by local churches.
While her Father was undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, CEO turned to a good cousin whom she trusted and confided, “I believe in Jesus and God, but there has to be something more out there to this life with God. There has to be more out there for me!”
It was then that Ms. Guerra’s relative took her to a small home meeting that would change her world FOREVER! At this meeting CEO was introduced to the “five fold’ ministry and the role of a prophet and the prophetic.
At a a small home in Ontario, CA, Ms. Guerra would have her date with destiny. Ms. Guerra was filled with the holy spirit on this day and a SUDDEN EXPLOSION went off.
Ms. Guerra received specific instructions on that date about her destiny, her calling on her life and received her very first prophetic word from a prophet. CEO learned about why she had always been a little bit different than everyone else. She learned why she tended to feel things more deeply than most people and why no matter how much she went to church or no matter how many individual counseling sessions she had, she never seemed to fully heal .
Soon Ms. Guerra began her journey and growth in Christ as never before, a new
creation. She also realized the concept of Romans, 8:28 in that the Lord works
everything for good for those who love him and are called. She started to hear more and more from the Lord and began “knowing things” about specific circumstances in “advance.”
After prayer one night, God had a very personal encounter with Ms. Guerra and she received specific instructions from God telling her that everything she had been through so far would be used for her good and she was indeed a “bit different” than most.
In the corner of her room while playing music, the lord instructed Ms. Guerra that she was a “prophetess” and was filled with the Joseph and Deborah anointing.
God told her she would use his gifts to advocate for children, reach the poor, help the homeless and help deliver people from oppression and depression.
Since then, she has received countless dreams and visions about various people
and acts as the vessel to rely words of hope, exhortations and warning to various individuals, believers of Christ and those who don’t follow Christ.
Ms. Guerra became a licensed minister of the Gospel through Western Evangelical Association and uses her license to pray over ill children at the hospital and other ailing individuals. God has used her to launch the ministry, Affirm Family Ministry to coordinate homeless outreaches, donate to low income families, pray at hospitals, and advocate for the children of the foster system by providing low cost advocacy services and consultations for families undergoing domestic violence, substance abuse and mental health cases in dependency or family court.
The advocacy sector of the ministry is under license through the Secretary of State in California and is licensed as a limited liability company (LLC).
The business, Affirm Family Advocacy, is an active member of the Whittier Area Chamber of Commerce and works closely with the populations in Whittier and the surrounding cities. The ministry also provides you tube teachings and provides pastoral prophetic counseling services to individuals.
