Evangelist Rachel R. Ruiz

Evangelist Rachel R. Ruiz

Lead Advocate

Biography

At the age of 13, Rachel became involved in Children’s ministry at her church. It was there that the spirit
of serving her community was instilled. This spirit of servitude continued to grow and even inspired her
family. Today, her immediate and extended family continue serving. They do so with a loving and giving
heart for those in need.
Evangelist Rachel has a strong desire to share about God with everyone she encounters. She carries a
strong drive to reach the marginalized communities and show them the love of Jesus Christ. Rachel’s
heart of Jesus has made way for her to donate food, toiletries and toys to local Domestic Violence
Centers. Additionally, through the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Volunteer program, her
reach in the community has broadened. There, a part of her outreach was to feed the Senior citizens
during the pandemic. The gifts she shares with her service are always with that of understanding, love
and gratitude; a magnificent demonstration of the fruits of the spirit, personified.
Rachel attained her Associates Degree in Administration of Justice, a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Criminal Justice and a pending Masters of Science degree in Forensic Science. The Certificate however,
she holds most dear is her certificate as an ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Her artistry and creativity add to her talents. Rachel’s biggest blessing appointed by God has been to be
a mother. This experience, among many, opened the door for her secular job in working with children in
a local elementary school. Rachel exudes a spirit of joy and laughter which is contagious to all who
encounter her. If anyone were to ask her where it comes from, she will confidently tell you it is the Joy
of the Lord. For the Joy of the Lord is indeed her strength.
